Sometimes it is overwhelming to care for an elderly relative, especially if family members have pressing work obligations, or if they live far away from their relative. ElderCare Services can help make caregiving duties easier. ElderCare Services provides consultation, case management and assistance to help families with the challenges of caring for elderly family members.
Experienced, professional staff members assess each situation and work with seniors and their families to provide a detailed care plan to address problems and find solutions that may include oversight and assistance in paying monthly bills, assistance with Medicare and other insurance bills, scheduling appointments with doctors, arranging housekeeping services, acting as an advocate on behalf of seniors, arranging regularly scheduled grocery shopping or home delivered meals, acting as a liaison between seniors and family.
In cases where there is no family, or a senior does not want family involved, Senior Solutions offers Power-of-Attorney and Guardianship services. Seniors are encouraged to plan ahead, and think about and choose who they want making decisions about their health, living arrangements and well-being when they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves.
Though our primary focus is Ada County, Idaho, we will consider other counties on a case-by-case basis.
There is a fee for ElderCare services, which vary according to services provided. For more details about ElderCare Services, click here.
